I have a Question! One of the biggest differences between Judaism and other religions is that Judaism encourages questions. There is a famous story about a rabbi and his student who were learning together. Coming across a question in the Talmud that seemingly had a remarkably simple answer; the student proceeded to mock the scholar who had asked the question. Chiding the student for his lack of respect, the Rabbi said, “If you make fun of the question, it shows you do not really understand it." There are no bad questions; only ones we may not know the answers to. Please email your questions us at ProudNJewish@aol.com Or When you need to ask a Rabbi but don’t know where to turn. Thank you, Web based learning - one question at a time - yours!
